Clunes
Clunes is a historic former gold-mining town that has preserved much of its original streetscape, so it's easy to imagine you've stepped back 150 years in time when you visit this amazing place. While visiting Clunes, we were photographing some of the old buildings on Fraser Street, which caught the attention of these three brightly coloured fellows who were inside the National Hotel enjoying a quiet Sunday afternoon drink. They beckoned for us to come inside and share a beer with them. |

Seymour
Seymour is a beautiful town, located almost 100 kilometres north of Melbourne on the Goulburn River. Nestled within in the scenic Tallarook Ranges, there's a whole host of attractions nearby including galleries, wineries and bushland to explore. While photographing some of the shops along the wide boulevard of Anzac Avenue, a group of local youths, who were enjoying refreshments on a table outside, politely asked what we were doing and requested we take their picture. |

Cape Paterson
Cape Paterson has a fantastic unspoilt beach, located just a few kilometres south of Wonthaggi in beautiful Gippsland. A great place to get away from it all, although it can get a tad busy during the summer months. After exploring the bay beach, next stop for us was First Surf Beach, home to the Cape Paterson Surf Life Saving Club. Descending the stairs down to the beach, we were confronted by this young lad who insisted he was famous and a member of the pop band Jonas Brothers. |

Donald
Donald represents the real country heartland of Victoria. It is a small and friendly town surrounded by wheat fields and grazing land, located mid-way between Melbourne and Mildura. It's best known as being home to Kooka's Country Cookies - one of Australia's leading shortbread biscuits manufacturers whose products are nationally promoted as being "the taste of country Australia". Our visit to Donald in the afternoon was a good time to capture photos of some of the grand old buildings which line the town's main drag of Woods Street. Our activities caught the eye of a couple of groups of students from Donald High School who asked us to take photographs of them. |

Echuca
Located 200 kilometres north of Melbourne on the Murray River, Echuca is one of Victoria's favourite holiday destinations. It was once Australia's busiest inland port as paddlesteamers ferried supplies along rivers during the second half of the 19th century. These days, Echuca's rich history of river trade can be rediscovered by visiting the Port of Echuca complex. Also take a stroll along the northern end of High Street where you'll discover eateries galore and touristy type shops to keep you busy. Echuca's main shopping strip can be found centred around the northern end of Hare Street. While capturing images of Echuca's CBD, these guys, who were sitting atop the verandah of Roma Pizza Restaurant in Hare Street, decided to put on a bit of a show for the camera. |

Swan Hill
Situated on the mighty Murray River, Swan Hill is surrounded by citrus farms and vineyards which are kept flourishing in this rather arid area of north-western Victoria thanks to irrigation. Swan Hill was a major inland river port during the days of paddlesteamers and the Swan Hill Pioneer Settlement complex is worth a visit to experience what life was like back then. One of Swan Hill's most recognised icons is a giant replica of a Murray Cod - a fish native to the Murray River's waters. Originally a movie prop, this fish replica can be found outside of Swan Hill's railway station. While photographing this attraction, we were surprised to find three kids sitting inside the mouth of the fish who wanted to pose for the camera. |
