About how we operate

1. Promote a special

Specials can be displayed, free of charge, on our accommodation specials page which is viewed by hundreds of people each week. On that page, brief details of your special or package are displayed, and more information is then shown within your full page accommodation advertisement under the "nightly rates" section.

Specials can include things like a discounted tariff or extras bundled into the accommodation stay.

Specials must run for a fixed period of time, such as a specific month, season or holiday period, and cannot span a period of more than 4 months.

Once specials expire, we will automatically remove them for you.

One of the advantages with being featured on our specials page is that you will promote your property to people who aren't too fussy about exactly where in Victoria they want to go, but are more interested in looking for a good bargain or package.

To promote your special, simply email the details to infotravelvictoria.com.au and include the exact time period it applies to.

2. List your property on the Beach Stays website

Beach Stays is a website which lists only accommodation located within a 500 metre walk of the beach or coast, It is typically used by people whose primary consideration when planning a beach holiday is the actual location of the accommodation and proximity to the water.

If your property is no more than 500 metres walk from the coast, then you're entitled to a free listing on Beach Stays which normally costs $40.

No maintenance is required for your Beach Stays listing, as it will contain exactly the same wording and photographs as your Travel Victoria listing, although in a different style. Any updates that are made to your Travel Victoria listing will automatically flow through to your Beach Stays listing. A restriction to the free listing offer is that your accommodation property can only be listed within one of the 5 accommodation categories on Beach Stays.
