Arthurs Seat information and attractions

Introduction:

Situated just inland from the beach-side resorts of Dromana and Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula, the small community of Arthurs Seat is renowned for its many natural attractions.

Arthurs Seat State Park covers a significant part of the area, and the landmark peak of Arthurs Seat offers stunning views across the peninsula and Port Phillip Bay from over 300 metres above sea level. Attractions at the peak include a lookout tower, BBQ and picnic facilities, and a chairlift which descends down to the base of the mountain. Many scenic walking tracks traverse the Arthurs Seat State Park, with the Seawinds section offering alternative lookouts situated in attractive landscaped gardens.

The Enchanted Maze Garden is a popular attraction in the area, offering visitors several traditional and unusual mazes to wander through, surrounded by themed gardens.
