The museum is the former home of the Dimboola Banner - a local newspaper which was first printed here in 1879. These days, the museum is home to a rare and operable collection of vintage equipment including printing presses and associated machinery. There are also displays of print history and memorabilia.

The Silo Art Trail is an outdoor gallery that stretches for several hundred kilometres in north-western Victoria, linking small towns within the Yarriambiack, West Wimmera and Buloke Shires. Giant murals depicting life in the local community have been painted on grain silos by renowned artists. Artwork can be viewed on 16 groups of silos at Albacutya, Arkona, Brim, Goroke, Horsham, Kaniva, Lascelles, Murtoa, Nullawil, Patchewollock, Rosebery, Rupanyup, Sea Lake, Sheep Hills, St Arnaud and Walpeup.
