The large house comprises two separate living areas, both with wood fires. There is a TV, DVD and CD player in the lounge room. A country style fully equipped kitchen with a wood stove for warmth and atmosphere plus an electric stove for convenience. Downstairs there are two generous bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles. The downstairs bathroom has a deep claw foot-bath. There is a reading nook by the staircase leading up to the parent's retreat comprising a master bedroom with ensuite and a balcony overlooking the pool area below. Outside features the in-ground pool, spa with venturi jets (no bubbles) and sauna. A paved entertaining area that includes an under cover outdoor setting and BBQ surrounds this; setting the mood for a relaxing and peaceful well earned break. Various pathways wind through the beautiful gardens surrounding the house, creating an atmosphere of private tranquility for you to enjoy. Guests have exclusive use of all facilities. At Woodland Mirth we are aware of how important your pets are to you, and we are happy to include them during your stay, we just ask that they stay outside. Ample space for car and boat parking is available, including a double carport adjoining the house. Local attractions include the historic town of Port Albert, the spectacular Wilsons Promontory that is a short 20-minute drive away. Great fishing spots are close at hand with Port Franklin only 8 kilometres away and Corner Inlet just 3½ kilometres. Fresh fish can be bought at the port as well.
