A Visit To Geelong
Overlooking Corio Bay, explore all that Geelong has to offer. Enjoy a swim at Eastern Beach from the sandy foreshore or within the swimming enclosure, relax or play in the parks overlooking the bay, enjoy great dining at many of the waterfront cafes and restaurants, discover quaint shopping villages and large shopping malls, visit museums and galleries, and enjoy the nightlife of this bustling city.
Discover Geelong's waterfront - a busy hub of water activities lined with public art and the Bollard Trail. There's also great shopping and plenty of places to eat with an emphasis on seafood. Geelong is the gateway to the Great Ocean Road, Surf Coast and Bellarine Peninsula.
Pakington Street, known to locals as "Pako", is a vibrant and culturally diverse shopping strip located in Geelong West that boasts some of Victoria's oldest buildings. There are lots of shops, restaurants and cafes, many with al fresco dining areas. The annual Pako Festa is held on the street during February and includes a parade, live performances and dancing.
