The Boomerangs

The Boomerangs are three fully self-contained cottages, situated on the Great Ocean Road south of Lavers Hill and a short drive from the pristine beaches of the small coastal community of Johanna.

The cottages are surrounded by one hectare of landscaped gardens which contain both a mixture of indigenous and European plants. The gardens are home to a wide variety of birdlife and overlook the picturesque Johanna Valley, the surrounding native forests and the stunning Southern Ocean.

The boomerang-shaped cottages each offer a huge open living plan area incorporating a fully-equipped kitchen, dining and living area. There are two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each, making it suitable for up to 4 adults, or 5 if the quality innerspring trundle bed is used. There are luxurious fittings, quality leather furnishings, TV, DVD player, a log fire, two person spa, air-conditioning and laundry facilities. Huge windows allow panoramic views day and night.

The accommodation is wheelchair accessible and includes an exterior entry ramp, shower curtain, bathroom hand basin permitting wheelchair access and extended toilet with grab rails.

Outside, there is an extensive wrap around verandah with a BBQ.

$450 for a single night stay
$350 per night for a two night stay midweek
$380 per night during weekends
Rates based on 2 people. Extra adults $70 each per night. Children over 2 years old $50 each per night.
