Little Gem is a small home, located approximately one kilometre north of Nelson's town centre and within a short walk of the Glenelg River.

There are 2 bedrooms with a queen size bed in the main bedroom and a bunk bed (bottom is a double bed) in the second bedroom. A TV and DVD player are provided in the lounge room and there is a well-equipped kitchen with stove, microwave and fridge. A split-system air-conditioner is installed in the main living area with fans available in both bedrooms.

Outside, the carport functions as a covered BBQ area. Boat and trailer parking is available on the nature strip.
