Folly Farm Rural Retreat offers a private and quiet country cottage for two, situated on ten acres of gardens and blueberry farm. No passing traffic and yet five minutes easy walk to Olinda Village.

The open plan cottage provides all the luxuries of today with the ambience of a hill station property. Setting the mood is a beautiful wrought iron chandelier, handmade by a local blacksmith and a romantic four poster bed, hand turned by local craftsman.

The light and bright cottage offers delightful views of gardens and Mount Dandenong. It features an ensuite, double spa, flat screen TV, air-conditioning, gas log fire and carport.

A separate disabled access bathroom offers a step-less shower base, safety anti-slip floor coverings, hand held shower, wheel chair accessible toilet, grab rails for shower and toilet, portable shower seat, lever taps, heated towel rail, hair dryer. All meet Australian standards.

Our English shepherds hut a very special hide-a-way. Curl up on the daybed and watch the garden grow. Read a book, write a poem and pen a postcard. The shepherds hut is a cozy escape in winter or a delightful summerhouse in summer. Enjoy afternoon tea or a platter and a glass of wine.

A garden full of history! Our National Trust classified gardens were designed by Edna Walling in 1936. Ellis Stones and Eric Hammond's special rock work creates a very special magic. Guest are welcome to explore.

Folly Farm welcomes your dog! We understand how hard it is to leave your "best friend" at home. Olinda is very dog friendly with many cafes providing outside service. Wonderful walks for you and your beautiful dog. Conditions apply.
