This beautiful, boutique style contemporary accommodation is located in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges, on the edge on the unique village of Olinda. There are five stand-alone private cottages which feature a contemporary and modern design to capture the light, views and beauty of the natural environment and resident wildlife outside. Picture perfect large windows and vaulted ceilings giving them that airy feel throughout. Separate large spa bathrooms with treetops views, log fires and wood floors give our contemporary and modern cottages that special feel. The Lochiel Original Cottage accommodates up to 8 people and has a lovely treetop balcony stretching the length of the cottage and a private courtyard with a four-person private spa pool set amongst the fern-filled courtyard. The Lochiel Treetops Cottages accommodate 2 people or one couple in each. There are 3 tri-level one bedroom cottages that feature spa baths, log fires and contemporary style throughout as well as balconies that look onto the forest canopy. There is a one-level cottage which is our newest cottage, similarly appointed to the others but with a larger floor space. Other facilities include equipped small kitchens, tea and coffee making facilities, large flat screen TV with DVD/CD, dressing gowns, linen and free on-site parking. Why not try Ranges or Credo Restaurants which are both in walking distance of the cottages? A short walk further on will lead you to the world famous Cuckoo Restaurant. The neighbouring villages of Sassafras and Mount Dandenong are in close proximity, while the famous Puffing Billy Railway is a 10 minute drive away.
