The premises was used as a Bank Manager's residence for the past 110 years. It was originally built by the Commercial Bank of Australia in 1889 and the front chambers were operational as a full time bank until June 2000.

The building has now been fully restored to its former state with the outside facade displaying the original rendering of the "Commercial Bank of Australia".

Inside polished floor boards, 14 foot ceilings, original stairway and banisters give you a feeling of yesteryear.
