Amoria Beach House is an exclusive holiday house that overlooks the white sandy beach of Cape Bridgewater.
Amoria Beach House is named after the rare and beautiful Amoria shell that you may find on the beach if you are lucky. This architecturally designed home was built in 2013 and provides a very comfortable atmosphere for guests. There is lots of European oak, all European appliances, fully automatic coffee machine, built-in fridge and freezer with ice maker, built-in dishwasher, large LED TV and Blu-ray player.
From each room in the home you overlook Bridgewater Bay. Watch the waves wash onto the long sandy beach and check on the kids playing in the sand from the comfort of your lounge or on the deck. It is just a 50 metre walk down to the beach for a swim or walk.
Amoria Beach House is located at the western end of the Great Ocean Road, on the dead-end Bridgewater Road that leads to the spectacular blowholes on the cape. The Great South West Walk passes along the beach through Cape Bridgewater and there are national and state parks nearby. "Seals by the Sea" run regular tours to the seal colony located on the Cape. The freshwater Bridgewater Lakes are located 10 kilometres away, while it is an 18 kilometre drive to Portland.
Cape Bridgewater's beach has been consistently rated as one of Australia's best beaches, yet it is not widely known. It is a quiet and unspoilt beach that is patrolled by surf lifesavers during summer.
The small community of Cape Bridgewater is served only by the licenced beach cafe which serves great food and wine and has live entertainment on Sunday afternoons.
