By listing your restaurant, cafe or winery on the
Travel Victoria web site, you must agree to the following terms and conditions.
- We accept your advertisement in good faith. Any claims or objections that arise in respect to your content on Travel Victoria must be borne upon yourself. Travel Victoria will not be held responsible for any advertiser content unless it is obviously clear that it breaches state, federal or international laws.
- Acceptance of advertisements are soley at our discretion and we may decline advertising submissions if we believe they are inconsistent or out of character with the contents of the Travel Victoria web site or if we have doubts about a particular advertiser's ability to pay any applicable advertising costs.
- "Enhanced" listings of restaurants, cafes and wineries attract an annual advertising fee due to their expanded content and premium placement. Once you submit the request for an "enhanced" restaurant, cafe or winery listing, you are immediately liable for the cost of the first year of advertising due to the time and expenses initially required to create your advertisement. Continuing the advertisement in subsequent years (i.e the second year onwards) is then on a year by year basis and completely up to the advertiser as to whether they wish to proceed each year. We reserve the right to suspend or remove any of these listings if advertising costs have not been paid for by the due date stated in the invoice issued.
- Any wording, photographs or other material that you supply to us in order to publish your restaurant, cafe or winery listing on the Travel Victoria web site must either be content that you hold the copyright for, or content that you have gained permission for us to reproduce on Travel Victoria. We will not be held responsible for copyright claims that may arise from supplying us with unauthorised information or photographs. Sole responsibilty for this rests with the advertising party.
- The addition of new restaurant, cafe or winery or changes to an existing listing will endeavour to be implemented as a matter of high priority. However, while the majority of additions or changes are done within 48 hours, Travel Victoria makes no guarantee that this level of turn around time will be achievable in every situation.
- Travel Victoria in no way guarantees the number of views of business listings by prospective customers or clients or that you will receive a certain number of enquiries or bookings from your listing.
- By listing your restaurant, cafe or winery on the Travel Victoria web site, you are responsible for ensuring the information presented is up to date. Contact us at any time to notify us of changes as they occur.
- While the Travel Victoria web site is being hosted by one of Australia's premier and largest web hosting companies, we cannot guarantee that the web site will be available and accessible 100% of the time due to circumstances beyond our control. However, we guarantee to achieve the best possible uptime for visitors and advertisers.
- No refunds will be given for advertisements that are discontinued by the owner during the paid advertising period.
- Providing Travel Victoria with your contact details when requesting a restaurant, cafe or winery listing gives us permission to use any or all of those methods to contact you in regards to your advertisement while it is published on the Travel Victoria web site.
