By listing your restaurant, cafe or winery on the
Travel Victoria web site, you must agree to the following terms and conditions.
- We accept your advertisement in good faith. Any claims or objections that arise in respect to your content on Travel Victoria must be borne upon yourself. Travel Victoria will not be held responsible for any advertiser content unless it is obviously clear that it breaches state, federal or international laws.
- Acceptance of advertisements are soley at our discretion and we may decline advertising submissions if we believe they are inconsistent or out of character with the contents of the Travel Victoria web site.
- "Standard" listings of restaurants, cafes and wineries are free of charge and thus the advertising party is under no financial obligations to Travel Victoria for those advertisements.
- "Standard" listings of restaurants, cafes and wineries are only accepted for the 180 towns, cities or suburbs that are already featured on the Travel Victoria web site. Choose an "enhanced" (paid) listing to advertise outside of our list of 180 destinations.
- In general, "standard" listings of restaurants that are part of an accommodation complex are ineligible for inclusion unless their accommodation is currently advertising on the Travel Victoria web site. This is to ensure that accommodation providers don't indirectly gain a free accommodation listings via a free link to their on-site restaurant.
- Any wording, photographs or other material that you supply to us in order to publish your restaurant, cafe or winery listing on the Travel Victoria web site must either be content that you hold the copyright for, or content that you have gained permission for us to reproduce on Travel Victoria. We will not be held responsible for copyright claims that may arise from supplying us with unauthorised information or photographs. Sole responsibilty for this rests with the advertising party.
- Some of the "standard" restaurant, cafe or winery listings may have been published on the Travel Victoria web site without initial permission from the owner of those businesses in order to present to web site visitors a comprehensive guide to services available. Business owners are welcome to request updates to the displayed information or ask for the listing to be removed. Contact us at any time to make those arrangements.
- The addition of new restaurant, cafe or winery or changes to an existing listing will endeavour to be implemented as a matter of high priority. However, while the majority of additions or changes are done within 48 hours, Travel Victoria makes no guarantee that this level of turn around time will be achievable in every situation.
- Travel Victoria in no way guarantees the number of views of business listings by prospective customers or clients or that you will receive a certain number of enquiries or bookings from your listing.
- By listing your restaurant, cafe or winery on the Travel Victoria web site, you are responsible for ensuring the information presented is up to date. Contact us at any time to notify us of changes as they occur.
- "Standard" listings of restaurants, cafes and wineries may be deleted at any time if we believe the information is out of date and we can't easily discover the current information. A web site link which fails to work for an extended period of time is typical grounds for removal of a free listing.
- While the Travel Victoria web site is being hosted by one of Australia's premier and largest web hosting companies, we cannot guarantee that the web site will be available and accessible 100% of the time due to circumstances beyond our control. However, we guarantee to achieve the best possible uptime for visitors and advertisers.
- Providing Travel Victoria with your contact details when requesting a restaurant, cafe or winery listing gives us permission to use any or all of those methods to contact you in regards to your advertisement while it is published on the Travel Victoria web site.
