| Venus Bay is a coastal settlement nestled in the sand dunes of Anderson Inlet on the South Gippsland coast. It consists of a population of around 500. It is surrounded by the waters of Bass Strait and Anderson Inlet. There is an abundance and wild life (kangaroos, koalas, wombats, echidnas, various species of birds), natural coastal bush, peat swamps and golden sandy beaches in the area. It is a very peaceful spot to relax in, and makes a great base for exploring the wider Gippsland area. Our holiday home is situated in the second estate of Venus Bay, close to Surf Beach 5, and the jetty on Anderson Inlet. It is a three bedroom self contained house, with separate beds that can sleep 6 people. It is well set up for families, with a computer, PS2, many board games, books within the house, a fireplace and air-conditioning. The family will enjoy the many coastal attractions of the pristine surf beaches of Venus Bay, the calm water beaches of Anderson inlet, and many other places to discover within the South Gippsland region. |
