| Situated on 20 acres of lush grazing land, Springbank is a hosted traditional bed and breakfast which comprises of two rooms in the main homestead and a separate private cottage. The main homestead was built around 1892, with several renovations since, but still retaining its original charm and character. It is situated less than a 10 minute drive east of Warragul and within Gippsland Gourmet Country where the many delights of this region can be experienced. The original front section of the homestead contains the two guest rooms - the Batema Suite and the Evison Room. Both rooms feature a queen-size bed, air-conditioning, private ensuite, fridge with mini-bar and tea & coffee making facilities. The Batema Suite also offers a private lounge with an open fire overlooking the front garden while the Evison Room has a private outside sitting area encompassing a side garden. The Cottage offers accommodation in the original "cream room" that formed part of the dairy complex. It has been converted into a cosy hideaway with full ensuite facilities, kitchenette with microwave cooking, a wood heater, air-conditioning, mini bar, TV and CD player. There is a comfortable queen-size bed making the cottage ideal for couples, or a single fold-away bed for a child can be provided. The Cottage is 60 metres away from the main homestead and includes its own private rear deck and patio area with BBQ and private garden. A range of dining options are available including simple home cooked meals, superb cheese platters or fine dining in our beautiful dining room. Free broadband wireless internet access is available.
