Alcaston House is a third floor apartment located in the magnificent heritage listed Alcaston House building, on the corner of Collins Street and Spring Street.
The apartment has been beautifully renovated and its unique styling is a perfect example of classic charm meeting contemporary design.
The big red entrance door leads into a spacious open plan living area with a comfortable lounge suite, ornamental fireplace, panel heater and Smart TV. There is a work desk, 6 seat dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with electric cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and floor to ceiling pantry.
Large glass doors open out from the living onto a Juliet balcony which offers views of the city including the Old Treasury Building, Treasury Gardens, the MCG and Rod Laver Arena.

All linen and towels are supplied. A starter pack of toiletries and cleaning products are provided.
There is one bathroom that has a vanity unit, toilet and shower. It features opulent tiling and glamorous lights above the mirror.
The concealed laundry includes a washing machine and ironing facilities.
Please note that Alcaston House is not suitable for children from 18 months to 5 years of age due to the furnishings not being toddler friendly.
Step onto the street and you are just a few minutes walk from Parliament House, Chinatown, the Bourke Street Mall, several theatres and beautiful gardens including Treasury Gardens, Fitzroy Gardens and Carlton Gardens. Melbourne's sporting precinct, including the MCG and Rod Laver Arena, are easy walking distance or just a short tram ride away.
Alcaston House is perfectly positioned to take advantage of Melbourne's extensive public transport system. It is situated at the junction of several tram lines, providing easy access to Docklands, St Kilda, Richmond and other inner city suburbs. The entrance to Parliament underground railway station is next door. This is part of the City Loop and connects to every suburban railway line.
Meet and greet service:
We employ an external concierge service, who have worked with Rejuvenate Stays for many years in providing this service to our guests. They will greet you at the apartment on your arrival and provide a tour of the property and give you the keys for your stay.
Once advised by you we make a note of your desired arrival time however this time will also have to be confirmed with the concierge directly. There is a $60 meet and greet fee already applied to your total booking cost covering arrivals between 3pm and 10pm. If you are arriving between 10pm and midnight, an additional after hours concierge fee of $40 will apply. Arrivals after midnight will incur an additional $100 after hours concierge fee.
Please notify our concierge of any delays in advance (at least 1 hour before scheduled arrival). Any delays not notified in advance may incur an additional $70 call out fee.
Nightly rates from
$120 to $220
Rates based on 2 guests, twin share. $35 booking fee, $100 cleaning fee and $60 meet and greet fee per stay applies.
Minimum stay from 2 to 4 nights.
A $500 security deposit is deducted from your credit card 10 days prior to arrival and is returned on inspection of the accommodation after departure.
