Hampton Cottage is truly a place to call home. This purpose built cottage is located right in the historical precinct of Port Albert, within the grounds of Gowrie House that dates back to 1856.
Feel the warm embrace of this charming cosy cottage. The open-plan living area has comfortable couches, a TV with DVD player and a 6 seat dining table. The kitchen is well equipped with a stove, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and refrigerator. There is also a bathroom and laundry.
Hampton Cottage offers homely accommodation for couples or families. It has 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 4 adults and 2 children.

Surrounding the cottage is a lovely private coastal garden with native wildlife, fire pit, outdoor dining and BBQ facilities. Off-street vehicle parking is available.
Hampton Cottage is located just a short walk from the harbour with its spectacular views of Wilsons Promontory and the surrounding waterways.
Dine on the catch of the day at Wildfish Restaurant, try a gummy burger at Castim by the Jetty Boat Hire & Kiosk or enjoy a scrumptious breakfast, lunch, or coffee at the The General Cafe & Restaurant which is just a few doors down.
Port Albert was established in 1841 and is one of Victoria's oldest seaports. Learn about the history of Port Albert at the Gippsland Regional Maritime Museum which is located just across the road from the cottage. Take a stroll along the boardwalk and enjoy the panoramic water views that make Port Albert so special.
