Mercure Bendigo Schaller

Mercure Bendigo Schaller is a funky boutique hotel, located 5 minutes walk from the beautiful parkland at Lake Weeroona and just one kilometre from the centre of Bendigo.

The hotel is a tribute to Australian artist Mark Schaller, with an art-inspired theme throughout the property. There are large sculptures within the surrounding landscaped gardens and original artwork in every room. Guests can even partake in art classes and there is lots of art literature available, as well as painting utensils.

Mercure Bendigo Schaller consists of 128 rooms, known as "workspaces" in keeping with the art theme. Workspace types include queen rooms, twin rooms, one bedroom suites and "view" rooms which are located on the top floor for good views over Bendigo. All rooms feature a large TV with Foxtel channels, wireless docking station, Art Series signature bed, mini bar, microwave, coffee pod machine, luxury Evo toiletries and a private balcony.

At Mercure Bendigo Schaller there is an emphasis on communal spaces with quirky lounges a large outdoor deck area.

Just inside the entrance to the hotel is The Pantry which is open daily from morning to night. It serves wine, coffee, refreshments, snacks and grazing-type meals with an emphasis on locally-sourced seasonal produce.
