Mountbatten Retreat

Mountbatten Retreat is family friendly holiday home, located just a short stroll from the Ovens River and shops.

Step through the front door into an inviting lounge room which has a corner couch, Smart TV with DVD library, children's books and games, a wood heater and reverse-cycle air-conditioner.

Double doors from the lounge room lead to a meals area which has a dining table that seats 6 people. The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave, sandwich press, fridge, dishwasher, and a selection of cookware, crockery and glassware.

Mountbatten Retreat has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 7 people.

• Bedroom 1 - queen bed, electric blankets, ensuite, Smart TV, reverse-cycle air-conditioner, direct access to patio
• Bedroom 2 - double bed, electric blankets, reverse-cycle air-conditioner
• Bedroom 3 - triple single bunk bed, reverse-cycle air-conditioner

There are 2 bathrooms.

• Main bathroom - bath, shower, vanity unit, toilet
• Ensuite - shower, vanity unit, toilet

Linen, towels, cleaning supplies and toiletries are provided. A portacot (bring your own linen) and high chair are available.

The laundry is equipped with a front load washing machine, clothes dryer and ironing facilities.

At the rear of the home is a large paved patio, complete with a 4 seater dining table and gas BBQ. Within this covered area are lockable bicycle racks, two mountain bikes and a children's bike for guest use (bring your own helmets).

Under the front verandah is a swing seat and small table. The surrounding yard has large expanses of lawn and is fully fenced.

Mountbatten Retreat is located within a 4 minute walk of the Ovens River and Bright Splash Park. From here, walk around the corner to the shops, cafes and restaurants in the heart of Bright.

Access to bedrooms is determined by guest numbers, with unused bedrooms locked. This allows smaller groups to enjoy this property without needing to pay for unused bedrooms.

Minimum stay is 2 nights, but it may be more during peak and high seasons.
