Fairways

Fairways is a charming two storey country home that backs onto a golf course and is only a short walk from the local sandy beach.

On the ground floor is an inviting open plan living area with cathedral ceilings, large windows and hardwood floors, creating a light and airy space. The sitting area has a comfortable set of sofas, 40 inch Smart TV with DVD library, a collection of board games, reading material, a cosy wood heater (some wood provided to get you started) and a split-system air-conditioner. The adjoining dining area has a table that seats up to 8 people. The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave, coffee pod machine, jaffle iron, stick blender, fridge, dishwasher, and an ample collection of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.

Upstairs is a study and sitting area which overlooks the downstairs living area. Glass doors from the study open onto a balcony which provides views over the garden and golf course.

Fairways has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 9 people.

The laundry is equipped with a washing machine and ironing facilities.

Several glass doors from the living area open onto an enclosed insect-proof verandah that wraps around a corner of the home. This large covered area has two tables, a relaxing hammock and a kitchen servery window. It connects directly to a sunny entertaining deck at the front of the home, complete with an 8 seater dining table and Weber Q gas BBQ. There is a small open deck attached to each of the two rear bedrooms.

Surrounding the home is a colourful cottage garden and established trees, with expanses of lawn. The rear yard is securely fenced, with a gate that opens onto the golf course. An outdoor shower is located next to the front porch.

At the front of the property is a double carport, plus parking for another 3 vehicles or a boat along the driveway and on the front lawn.

Take a 3 minute walk along the access track at the end of the street to the local sandy beach which is free from the usual crowds. An 18 minute walk or 3 minute drive will take you into the centre of Cowes where you will find an excellent selection of shops, cafes and restaurants.

Please note that this property is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. No bookings are taken over Schoolies.

Minimum stay is from 1 to 7 nights (please note this varies depending on the dates).

Top and bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases are not supplied by default for this property. If you would like these items of linen supplied rather than bringing your own, the cost is a once-off charge of $30 per bed. Please advise if you would like linen supplied and for which beds. Advance notice of at least 7 days prior to your arrival is appreciated. Note that doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats are supplied at no cost.
