The property was fully renovated in 2017 and has 13 immaculate boutique guest rooms. Choose from queen or twin rooms which sleep up to 2 people, family rooms with two separate bedrooms that sleep up to 4 people, and a disability access room for two people which is suitable for wheelchairs.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor swimming pool which is located within the shady gardens that surround the inn. For the kids, there is a safe and exciting children's playground to keep them entertained. A 24 hour laundromat is located on the property.

The restaurant at Heathcote Inn adopts a farm-to-table philosophy, sourcing as much of its ingredients as possible from local suppliers. This is reflected in the changing seasonal menu which includes tapas, grilled meat, gourmet pizzas and delectable desserts. On weekends, the restaurant hosts regular performances by local artists and scheduled activities to celebrate sporting events. There is also a full service bar where snacks along with beers, local wines, spirits and liqueurs can be enjoyed. The restaurant and bar are open from Thursday to Sunday.

A cellar door, in partnership with Chalmers Wines, is open Wednesday to Sunday for wine tastings and seasonal food platters. As well as wine, home made goodies are sold here, including granola, jams, olives and bottled fruit.

Heathcote Inn is located 110 kilometres from Melbourne and 40 kilometres from Bendigo, nestled in between the picturesque McHarg and McIvor Ranges.
