Centre of Town Serenity

Centre of Town Serenity is a cosy, quaint and intimate cottage, nestled in the heart of historic Jamieson.

At the front of the cottage is a relaxing lounge room with a wood fire (wood is available for purchase at the garage or the general store), air-conditioner, TV, DVD player, movie library and a collection of books. The adjoining meals area has a dining table and a kitchen equipped with an electric stove, oven, microwave, toaster, fridge, pantry condiments, tea and coffee.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 5 people.

• Bedroom 1 - queen bed with electric blanket
• Bedroom 2 - tri-bunk (double on bottom with electric blanket, single on top)

There is one bathroom.

• Main bathroom - shower, vanity unit, separate toilet

Guests will need to bring their own linen to fit the beds. Pillows are supplied, however guests are welcome to bring their own pillows from home.

A unique feature of the cottage is the rustic outdoor covered entertaining area. It has a BBQ, wood heater with an oven underneath (perfect for pies and pizza), bar stools, tables, chairs, and some items of memorabilia on display from a bygone era. On a beautiful day, enjoy great views towards the mountain tops from this area.

At the front of the cottage is a verandah with seating that overlooks an iconic tupelo tree.

For guests with an electric vehicle, there is a charging station on the street, just 20 metres from the driveway.

Guests will love the convenient location of Centre of Town Serenity. Walk 40 seconds around the corner to the general store and 90 seconds to the Court House Hotel. Take a 5 to 7 minute stroll to the gorgeous Jamieson River and enjoy a picnic on the grassy banks or even a swim in the river. Within a 10 minute walk from the cottage is The Island - a section of land surrounded by the beautiful intersection of both the Jamieson and Goulburn Rivers. Take a 5 minute drive to Jamieson Brewery & Grill and 12 minutes to the historic Kevington Hotel.
