Reviews:
"Thanks again for a wonderful stay at Laurel Berry Lodge. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in your very comfortable house. Max settled in very well, using the ramp for all is entries and exits and did enjoy some time on the enclosed deck. We had such lovely weather which allowed us to walk through the autumn leaves, and breakfast on the deck in the morning sunshine, serenaded by the cockies and fly-pasts of the king parrots. Both the General Store and the Courthouse Hotel were great with friendly, hospitable staff and great food which we indulged in on a couple of occasions. We came with some of our own supplies, being used to staying at places with little if any provisions. Your supply was fantastic! The house is well provisioned with staples that allow you to cater for yourself if you don't feel like going out. It's the small things that you never think to bring - salt & pepper, oil for cooking, some jam, mustard pickle and even some cordial etc. Your house is truly a home away from home., we covered your floor boards with old doona covers and picnic rugs to give Max some traction, as he slips and slides on polished floors. We would also like to thank you for the array of mats you had in the house which we also used to give Max confidence moving around, especially going in and out the doors. We love him dearly but Max has always had some quirks and with increasing age (11½ years) he has developed more and more. It can be a bit of a trial so when we find a place where he is happy, so are we!" - May 2025
"We all enjoyed our stay in pretty Laurel Berry Lodge in friendly Jamieson. Pam has been extremely thoughtful with her planning of all a dog and her owners would need to have a relaxing and very comfortable stay. The lovely wrap around deck has plenty of seating for us to follow the sun. Dog bowls and toys galore. We can happily recommend this home to all who wish to relax in Jamieson." - April 2025
"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Laurel Berry Lodge. One of the most dog friendly hosts and homes we have stayed at, and we have stayed at many. The accommodation had everything we needed, dog toys were a bonus. Great shower and beds and everything spotless. A good fenced yard for the doggos and beautiful river walks minutes from the front door. Pam was the most lovely and accommodating host and we are very grateful she shares her little piece of paradise with other dog lovers." - December 2024 ★★★★★
