Set within the front paddock of a working family farm, this modern and private cabin is your cosy home away from home where you can enjoy a genuine taste of the country. Whether you want to get involved in farm life or just relax and do nothing, the choice is all yours.

The cabin is ideally suited to couples, a family or small group of friends. The light-filled open plan living area has been tastefully furnished and is air-conditioned for your year round comfort. There is a sitting area with a wall-mounted Smart TV, a dining table that seats 4 people and a kitchen with electric hotplates, microwave, fridge and dishwasher.

Provisions for a hearty country breakfast are provided for you to enjoy at your leisure, as well as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar and fresh milk.

Mygunyah Farmstay has 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 4 people.

• Bedroom 2 - two single beds, ensuite, reverse-cycle air-conditioner

Each bedroom's ensuite has a shower, vanity unit and toilet.

Fresh linen, towels and a selection of toiletries are supplied.

Step out onto the wide front verandah where you will find an outdoor dining table, chairs and a BBQ. From here, enjoy sweeping rural views, watch animals grazing in the paddock, see stunning sunrises and stargaze at night. The verandah overlooks a landscaped native garden complete with an ornamental windmill and a fire pit with a seating area.

If you wish to get involved in farm life, you can help the farmer feed the friendly livestock including gorgeous miniature cows, lambs and pygmy goats. You can also check on the progress of crops and read the rain gauge.

Take advantage of a range of optional extras to make your stay even more special. A fresh meal pack can be put in the fridge for you to enjoy during your first evening. If you would like to experience a little country magic, a fire pit pack can be supplied (except during periods of fire restrictions) which consists of firewood, chocolates and marshmallows. Aspiring little farmers will love the activity bag with its water-painting book, colouring pages and a craft activity.

Mygunyah Farmstay is located 4 kilometres from the centre of Kaniva where you will find cafes, hotels, charming country shops, a supermarket, an art trail and wetlands reserve. Further afield are beautiful nature parks, lakes, 4WD tracks and endless paddocks of golden canola which bloom during the early springtime.

If you are driving between Melbourne and Adelaide, Mygunyah Farmstay is an ideal halfway stopping point where you can take some time out to refresh and rejuvenate while experiencing authentic Australian farm life.
