Jetty Road Retreat

Jetty Road Retreat offers secluded cabins with stunning lake views, perched on a hillside overlooking Nungurner Jetty.

The property consists of 4 self-contained cabins - numbers 3, 4, 5 and 6. Each cabin has breathtaking views over the Gippsland Lakes from their living areas and private deck. These stunning water views and the surrounding native bushland creates a sense of tranquility and seclusion. Friendly native birds drop in daily for a visit, and complimentary birdseed is provided to feed them.

The cabins are decorated in a feel-good retro style, making them warm and welcoming. They each have a comfortable air-conditioned living and dining area with a TV and DVD player. The living area of cabin 3 is more spacious and also includes a pull-out sofa bed.

Each kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, full size fridge, Nespresso coffee pod machine and an extensive selection of cookware.

The cabins have two bedrooms and can each sleep up to 5 people, with cabin 3 sleeping an extra person on the sofa bed. There is a queen bed in the main bedroom and a bunk with a double bed on the bottom and single on the top in the second bedroom. Lake views can be enjoyed from the main bedrooms of cabins 4, 5 and 6.

The bathrooms include a modern shower, with cabin 3 having a separate toilet.

Deluxe hotel-quality bedding, sheets and towels are provided. There is also complimentary tea, coffee, condiments and toiletries.

On-site vehicle parking is provided and there is generally space available in the visitor car park of the property for boat trailers.

Walk down the gentle path to Nungurner Jetty which is located just below the cabins. The shoreline of the lake here is sandy, making it ideal for a safe paddle or swim in the water.

There is a private wooden jetty which is available free to guests for mooring small to medium boats. Complimentary single and double kayaks with life vests are provided for guests to enjoy a paddle on the lake.

Despite its secluded setting, Jetty Road Retreat is situated just 10 minutes drive from the charming village of Metung and 15 minutes from the larger centre of Lakes Entrance.
