Tatoonie is a home with strong architectural vision, immersed in its natural landscape where you can indulge in a slower pace of living.

Nestled into the hillside on 2 hectares of serenity with expansive valley views, every element of this home has been carefully designed for comfort without excess. Natural materials and soft light create spaces that feel both grounded and quietly elevated. This is the type of property you can truly settle into for a quiet and memorable stay.

The home has been divided into two separate wings, one for the bedrooms and the other for the living areas, united by a glass atrium entrance foyer with a drying cupboard.

The spacious open plan living area features polished aggregate flooring and a timber-lined raked ceiling. There is a wood fire (wood supplied) for the cooler months, reverse-cycle air-conditioner, large Smart TV and an array of seating options for both relaxation and dining. The kitchen features a butlers pantry and is equipped with an induction cooktop, two ovens, dishwasher, fridge and an extensive selection of crockery and cutlery. Enjoy a supply of T2 tea and also locally roasted Emme Mac Black coffee beans for use in the barista coffee machine. A vast wall of windows flood this space with natural light, drawing the outside in and framing uninterrupted views across the valley to Mount Buffalo.

This home has 4 air-conditioned bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 people.

An expansive deck flows outside from the living area, set against a breathtaking scenic mountain and valley backdrop that feels almost cinematic. The deck features a swimming pool (heated in summer months, winter by arrangement), a 6 person sauna, outdoor hot shower and outdoor bathroom. Enjoy outdoor living with a gas BBQ, outdoor dining table and lounge setting. Just below the deck is a fire pit area with surrounding seating.

Tatoonie offers seclusion without isolation on the outskirts of Myrtleford, just a 2 minute drive from the town centre.

The charming High Country town of Myrtleford is well known for its Italian heritage, celebrated with the annual La Fiera festival. You can explore nearby wineries and farm gates, the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail, Lake Buffalo, Ovens River and stunning Alpine landscapes. Take a scenic drive to Mount Buffalo for hiking, lookouts and seasonal snow. Myrtleford is also a convenient gateway to Bright and Falls Creek, making it an ideal base for alpine adventures all year round.

While you may choose to explore and experience all that this beautiful region has to offer, you may find that Tatoonie feels like a destination that you don't actually feel the need to leave.
