Nelson Cottage is a traditional bed & breakfast that has been recently renovated whilst retaining its heritage charm in a seaside location.

There are 6 refurbished guest rooms which provide modern comforts with hints of a bygone era. Choose from two king rooms, two queen rooms, a twin room or family room. These rooms are either individually rented out or multiple rooms can be combined for a group booking of up to 15 people.

Spacious shared amenities include hot showers and original cottage charm.

The shared guest living area includes a cosy fireplace, large TV, a handpicked library of books, jigsaw puzzles and board games. Alternatively, soak up some natural light in the warm plant-filled sunroom.

An open plan dining room overlooks the beautiful front garden with glimpses of the meandering Glenelg River in the distance. Enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast with cereal, toast, yoghurt, juice, freshly brewed coffee and a selection of teas, all served between 7am and 9am daily. A cooked breakfast, picnic lunch or dinner is available by prior arrangement for an additional cost. There is also a guest beverage area with filtered water, a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.

Unwind on the historic front verandahs and enjoy the sea breezes and sounds of the nearby ocean beach. Stroll through the extensive gardens, which includes a BBQ area, and enjoy its many secret seating spots.

Nelson Cottage Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located just around the corner from the Nelson Hotel which is open daily for meals. Near by is Nelson Kiosk, Mobil service station and the beautiful Glenelg River.
