Nelson Luxury Holiday Accommodation is your secluded holiday escape with spectacular views of the stunning Glenelg River. Everything is provided for at this 5 star getaway which boasts complete privacy and comfort.

The open plan living area is beautifully furnished with comfortable couches and an 8 seat dining table. Large surrounding windows provide panoramic river and bush views. The adjoining gourmet kitchen includes a 4 burner gas cooktop, double oven, microwave, two fridges, basic pantry staples and ample crockery for 8 people.

Step out from the living area through glass doors onto a large entertaining deck that offers views in all directions. There are also two other sheltered entertaining areas and a Japanese bath house.

Up to 8 guests can be accommodated at Nelson Luxury Holiday Accommodation. There 4 luxuriously carpeted bedrooms, all with TVs, Netflix and internet access. Bedroom 1 has a king bed, bedroom 2 has a king bed which can be split into two singles, and both bedrooms 3 and 4 have a queen bed. All linen and towels are provided. There are 3 ensuites. Please note that bedroom 4 is located downstairs via a separate external entrance and is only available to bookings over 6 guests.

Underfloor heating and air-conditioning provides year round comfort in this home.

Children are welcome and a high chair and porta cot can be provided. Kids will love the games room which features a pool table, table tennis table, foosball table and an arcade game machine.

Up to 3 vehicles can be housed on the property with one space available in the garage and two spaces on the driveway.

Nelson Luxury Holiday Accommodation is located 100 metres from the "Isle of Bags" landing on the Glenelg River. Launch a canoe or kayak from here or fish from the jetty. A concrete boat ramp is located at nearby Simsons Landing.

Follow the pathway along the river or drive less than a kilometre into the centre of Nelson where you can enjoy a meal or drink at the Nelson Hotel or visit the local information centre. Hop aboard a scenic river cruise through spectacular gorges to the Princess Margaret Rose Cave. Explore the surrounding Lower Glenelg National Park and Great South West Walk, or take a day trip to the famous Blue Lake at Mount Gambier.

House rules:

• Strictly no more than 8 guests are allowed on the property as there is a limited supply of rainwater along with a self-contained on-site septic system which cannot accommodate more than 8 guests.
• Accurate guest numbers must be clearly communicated
• Strictly no visitors, parties or functions
• Strictly no pets
• Strictly no smoking inside the home including the games room
• No cigarette butts to be disposed of in inside bins. Please use sand buckets provided on outside decks.
• Maximum of 2 infants per booking allowed
• Maximum of 3 cars allowed per booking - one garage and two driveway spaces. Plus room for boat up to 7 metres.
• Furniture is not to be moved.
• If any of the above rules are broken you will forfeit your security deposit and the owner reserves the right to inspect the property and cancel your booking immediately.

Nightly rates from

Low season - April to September
$300 per night - minimum stay is 4 nights

Mid season - February to March, October to 19th December
$325 per night - minimum stay is 4 nights

Peak season - 20th December to 31st January
$350 per night - minimum stay is 5 nights.

All rates are based on 4 people. Extra guests are $25 each per night up to a maximum of 8 people.

A $100 cleaning fee applies.

A fully refundable bond of $500 is required for all bookings.

Cancellation policy:
Full refund for cancellations made up to 14 days prior to check in.
50% refund for cancellations made between 14 days and check in.
For unforeseen emergency cancellations please contact the owner directly to discuss alternative arrangements.
