Raymond Island
Catch the pedestrian and vehicular ferry at Paynesville and in less than 5 minutes you will disembark at Raymond Island. The island is renowned for its native wildlife, including kangaroos, koalas, echidnas and prolific birdlife. Enjoy a walk along the lakeside boardwalk, cycle along the island's quiet roads and tracks, or visit the safe swimming beaches.

The Lakes National Park
A secluded bushland expanse within the Gippsland Lakes fronting Lake Victoria and extending along a peninsula from Loch Sport. Access is also available via boat from Paynesville. The park incorporates Rotamah island and offers picnic areas, a network of walking tracks and great bird watching opportunities.
