Sagres is a stunning three storey home that sits above the sand dunes, overlooking picturesque Nuns Beach. With its own private pathway from the garden straight onto the sand, this is coastal living at its best.

Designed by renowned Melbourne architect Wayne Gillespie, this luxurious holiday house is a beachfront architectural icon, featuring quality decor and light-filled rooms that open onto Port Phillip Bay. With a Mediterranean-inspired theme, this is an inviting coastal haven that you will never want to leave.

The main living and dining area spans the entire middle floor level. It consists of a lounge area with a gas log fire, a meals area with a large dining table and a bar. The fully equipped kitchen features stone benchtops, a gas cooktop, twin ovens, La Marzocco coffee machine and dishwasher. Sliding glass doors from one end of the living area open onto a north facing balcony where you can enjoy glimpses of Swan Bay in the distance. At the other end is a huge south facing balcony with an array of outdoor furniture, providing a relaxing spot to enjoy uninterrupted views over the bay and watch ships navigate the The Heads as they enter Bass Strait.

On the ground floor is a rumpus room that includes a TV with streaming services and a large collection of board games.

Sagres has 5 bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 people. Most bedrooms look out over native coastal scrub to the water.

At the front of the home is a white-tiled mineral pool which is heated to 28°C from October to April. Enjoy a swim, float or settle into an outdoor daybed under a cabana umbrella for a relaxing afternoon.

Unwind in the glass-fronted European sauna located along the side of the home, providing restorative heat sessions for up to 6 people. Next to the sauna is a paved area with an outdoor bath tub and dual outdoor shower.

The garage has been converted into a wellness studio which has heated floors and gym equipment. Book a private yoga session or in-house massage treatment, subject to availability.

Sagres is situated on a allotment of over 2,000 square metres with established native trees and bushes. Access is via an electric front gate that opens onto a long driveway, providing ample off-street parking.

A private walking track at the rear of the home leads directly to Nuns Beach. Parallel to the beach is the coastal pathway of Lovers Walk which meanders its way through scrub and woodlands towards Point Lonsdale, providing panoramic views and access to secluded beaches.

Take a 10 minute stroll into the centre of historic Queenscliff with its cafes, galleries and the Searoad ferry to Sorrento. A 30 minute drive will take you into the heart of Geelong - the vibrant city on the bay.

Sagres is a house that is styled and cared for locally. This home is perfect for family gatherings, small retreats and long weekends - it is not a hotel.
