Seafarers Cottage is a lovely renovated coastal-inspired weatherboard home, located within walking distance of Capel Sound beach.

This cottage is the perfect blend of modern comforts and timeless charm, ideally suited to those after a quiet, cosy getaway.

The main living area is located at the front of the home. This open plan space has beautiful hardwood flooring and includes a comfortable lounge suite, a Smart TV with Foxtel and a dining table that seats 8 people. The Hamptons-style kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooktop and oven, microwave, coffee machine, fridge with ice dispenser and dishwasher.

A second living area is located at the rear of the home with ample seating and a wall-mounted TV.

This home has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 people.

There is a covered entertaining area at the back of the home complete with an outdoor dining setting, BBQ and sink. This area overlooks a private garden that has a hot outdoor shower.

The garage in the backyard has been converted into a huge recreation room. It has pool table, kitchenette and a second fridge.

At the front of the property is a fence and sliding gate. Behind the gate is a long driveway which provides lots of space to park cars and a boat securely.

Seafarers Cottage is located in a quiet residential area of Capel Sound, backing onto a nature reserve and close to the Tootgarook Wetlands.

Take a 15 minute walk along residential streets and through the tree-lined foreshore, onto the picturesque sands of the bay beach which is safe for swimming. There are a few cafes and restaurants along Point Nepean Road in Capel Sound and neighbouring Tootgarook, however for a larger selection, drive 5 minutes down the road to either Rye or Rosebud which are much larger centres with hotels, supermarkets and lots of shops.

Explore the highlights of the southern Mornington Peninsula. Within a 5 minute drive are the popular Peninsula Hot Springs and Alba Thermal Springs. Many wineries, golf courses, the iconic Arthurs Seat Eagle and exhilarating surf beaches are all just a short drive away.
