Must Love Dogs B&B is a traditional and pet-friendly bed & breakfast where guests and their pets will be pampered and spoilt. You are of course still very welcome without a pet.

The circa 1850 Globe Hotel has been lovingly restored with modern suites and expansive gardens, and is now operating as a bed & breakfast.

The Chandelier Suite is the hotel's original ladies lounge with 12 foot ceilings, velvet drapes, a beautiful red Morano glass chandelier, giving this suite a sophisticated and old worldly feel. With the addition of a new ensuite, including walk-in glass shower, disabled hand rail, heated towel rail, and its own heating, this suite is ideal for long and short holidays.

The modern Garden Suite features a bright bay window looking out onto a wonderful private garden. It includes a special Wenatax bed, and an extra single bed can be provided if required. There is a lounge with leather couch and an ensuite with claw foot bath and walk-in shower with disabled hand rail.

Both suites feature a spacious and luxury bedroom with quality bedding, crystal chandelier, velour robes, ensuite, air-conditioning, heating, 50 inch TV, DVD player, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge, table, chairs and a private, secure garden. Treats, chocolates and muscat is provided for all guests.

Experience unique dining in the original heritage-listed dining room where evening meals can be served by candlelight or relax in the garden with a scrumptious BBQ. Breakfast is also served in the dining room. Spend time in the shaded garden, relaxing with a Devonshire tea, or in summer, our heated swimming pool with spa is an indulgent luxury.

Free Wi-Fi internet is provided. Other services available on request include washing and ironing, full room service and all meals.

Also on the property is self-contained cottage which has its own lovely shaded secure yard with a BBQ and outdoor setting. This modern cottage has one bedroom with a king size bed and quality linen. The open plan living area has a TV, DVD player, air-conditioning, a 4 seat table and leather couches, one of which can be folded out as double bed. The kitchen has a fridge, gas cooktop, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom has a separate walk-in shower, full size bath and large vanity. There is good wheelchair access.

Must Love Dogs B&B is centrally located, just one block from the tourist information centre and 500 metres from the Rutherglen town centre. A secured, outside car park is provided.

Let us babysit your pet while you explore Rutherglen and its surroundings, including over 20 wineries. A picnic hamper can be prepared for you, or let your host take charge and escort you on a private wine tour. There's many other activities available - horse riding (we can arrange), great walking and cycling tracks, fishing and boating on the nearby Murray River, golf at the Howlong or Corowa golf courses, antique shopping, dining at a wonderful range of restaurants, gourmet chocolate making and tasting, and olive groves with olive tasting. A masseur is also available.
