Banksia Views Coastal Cottage

Banksia Views Coastal Cottage is a charming and cosy timber holiday home nestled on a private bush allotment, within easy walking distance of the beach.

This cottage is perfect for a romantic seaside getaway or peaceful retreat, specially set up for either a discerning couple or small family.

The open plan living area has cathedral ceilings, polished floorboards, bright rugs and large windows that let in fresh sea air and natural light, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. There are comfortable couches, an air-conditioner, cosy wood heater, TV, DVDs, books, games a puzzles.

The meals area has a dining table which seats 6 people and a kitchen which is equipped with an electric cooktop, oven, microwave, electric frypan, toaster, kettle and fridge/freezer. There is an assortment of crockery, cutlery and glassware, as well as a starter pack of coffee, tea, sugar, detergent and tidy bags. Fresh tank water is piped to the kitchen for drinking purposes.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 5 people.

There is one bathroom.

• Main bathroom - shower, wash basin, separate toilet

Bedding, linen and towels are provided. Guests will need to bring their own beach towels.

The laundry is equipped with a top load washing machine and clothes dryer.

At the front of the cottage is a spacious timber verandah which catches the afternoon sun. There is an outdoor setting, gas BBQ and on-site parking for up to 2 cars.

The surrounding garden is visited by rosellas, koalas, possums and echidnas, while other wildlife may be seen in the nearby bushland.

Take a 12 minute walk or 2 minute drive to Sandy Point General Store where you can stock up on groceries or grab a coffee.

Walk 10 minutes to the nearest beach at the end of Manuka Street or 15 minutes to the outstanding patrolled surf beach off Beach Parade. The sheltered waters of Shallow Inlet offer great fishing and windsurfing.
