Beach Escape San Remo is a light and bright holiday property that offers views overlooking San Remo and the bay. Tidy, welcoming and tastefully decorated, this home is an ideal escape for couples and families, with everything needed to feel right at home with the whole place completely to yourselves.
The upstairs air-conditioned open plan living area features large windows that capture the surrounding views. There is a 2 x 3 seater sofa with washable covers, separate lounge chairs, ottomans, TV, DVD player, books, board games, toys for young children and free Wi-Fi.
The dining space has a table that comfortably seats 6 people and there are 2 stools at the kitchen bench. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric stove, oven, microwave, fridge, small pantry and an ample collection of pots, pans, crockery, kids plates, bowls and cutlery. Also included are condiments, oil, food wraps and cleaning items.
A sliding glass door leads from the living area onto a balcony which has chair seating that overlooks San Remo and the bridge, providing glimpses of the bay and towards Phillip Island and French Island. It is the perfect spot to watch a magnificent sunset. A 4 burner gas BBQ is located on the balcony, however during the winter it is relocated under the balcony and out of the elements.
The home has 3 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep up to 6 adults. All the bedrooms are located together and each one has block-out blinds, bedside table and lamp, wardrobe with hanging space and shelving, portable heater and fan.
Each bed is made up with fresh linen, coverlets and there are also spare blankets. A porta cot and high chair are available for a child.
There is one bathroom with a shower and vanity unit. A set of towels for all guests along with bath mats, hand towels and a hair dryer are provided. Please note that the hot water system is electric and will reheat overnight, however if all guests have long showers then the hot water will run out. The toilet is separate and next to the bathroom.
The laundry has a top-loading washing machine with detergent supplied. For drying clothes there is a clothes airer and also a clothes line in the back yard. Other facilities include an ironing board, iron, vacuum cleaner and stick vacuum.
This home is of a split level design which makes it cool in summer and warm in winter. 5 steps lead from the garden to the front door with the bedrooms, bathroom and laundry coming off the hallway. There are 5 more steps with a handrail that lead to the open plan living area and balcony.
Outside is a large fully fenced yard with gates making it safe for children and pets. The yard is mainly lawn with a small garden bed along the back fence.
The garage has been converted into a clean and tidy retreat and play room with couches, a dining table and second fridge. There is a beach trolley, boogie boards, umbrella and some backyard games which guests are welcome to use.
Ample parking for cars is available on the driveway.
Beach Escape San Remo is located in a quiet residential street, close to shops, parks and beaches. Walk 350 metres to the start of Marine Parade where there are restaurants, cafes, takeaway food outlets, two hotels and a supermarket along this street. Further along is the pelican feeding area on the sandy front beach which occurs at 12 noon daily, the jetty and Fisherman's Co-Op with fresh seafood and delicious fish and chips. Just 300 metres north of the home is a coastal walkway with steps that lead right down to the water's edge.
Located at the gateway to Phillip Island, San Remo offers an ideal base from which to visit the many nearby attractions including Churchill Island, Phillip Island Chocolate Factory, Koala Conservation Centre, A Maze'N Things and the famous Penguin Parade. Shuttles near the home make it quick and easy to get to the Grand Prix Circuit for major race events.
Beach Escape San Remo is a one hour drive from Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs and two hours from Melbourne Airport, making it ideal for a quick getaway from the city.

Check-in time is any time after 2pm, with keys left in a security box. Check out is by 10am.
