Bluey House is located directly across the road from large open coastal heathlands. Take a short 4 minute walk through the sand dunes to the beautiful East Warrnambool beach where the roar of the Southern Ocean fills the air. Play, rest, dream, find inspiration, adventure or simply immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature. Disconnect from the outside world and create wonderful beachside memories with family and friends.
For those who love the great outdoors, Warrnambool ticks all the boxes. There are unspoiled beaches, popular surf breaks and incredible fishing spots. Try snorkelling at the Merri Marine Sanctuary next to Middle Island. There are huge schools of zebrafish, wrasse and sweep, while a quick dive below the surface will reveal crayfish and abalone. Head to the end of Warrnambool's breakwater and watch teenagers jump into the sheltered bay from a great height. The nearby sheltered estuary waters of the Hopkins River is a brilliant spot for stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and other water sports. Cast a line and try your luck at ocean or freshwater fishing.
