  • Dunkeld Historical Museum

    This museum houses a social history collection of Dunkeld and its surrounding areas. Located within the former Presbyterian Church which was built in 1865, it features artefacts, photographs and records relating to activities and lifestyles from the 1800s to recent times. Learn about exploration by Major Mitchell, the history of the wool industry and the effects of both World Wars.

  • Grampians National Park

    Renowned for its rugged mountain ranges and stunning wildflower displays, the Grampians National Park features creeks, lakes and waterfalls. There are over 50 walking tracks and many spectacular lookouts.

  • Grampians Peaks Trail

    (only some stages open so far) The 144 kilometre Grampians Peak Trail extends from Mount Zero in the north of the Grampians National Park to the township of Dunkeld in the south. It connects some of the most famous peaks in the Grampians, winding its way through a variety of landscapes and vegetation types. Along the way are panoramic views, rugged ranges, relics of Aboriginal culture and several camping areas.

  • Ros McArthur Art Studio

    View oil paintings which are inspired by the beauty of the Grampians with its wildflowers, exotic plants and panoramic mountain vistas. The studio is located on a sheep farm that is 30 kilometres north of Dunkeld in the scenic Victoria Valley. Visitors are welcome to wander through the surrounding gardens and enjoy the views of the beautiful mountain ranges.
