  • Christmas Festival of Lights

November. Celebrate the start of the festive season with a night of magic that will appeal to those of all ages. Held along Davey Street and the Frankston Arts Centre, there will be live stage shows, arts, craft, amusements, food stalls and carols by candlelight. Later in the night fireworks and the lighting up of iconic century old Norfolk pine trees will be choreographed to a theatrical sound and light show.

  • Sand Sculpting Australia

December to April. This annual sand sculpting display is held at the Frankston waterfront near the pier and Kananook Creek. During 4 months from Boxing Day, visitors can wander amongst sculptures that follow a different theme each year. They are created from a heavy "brickies" sand and are then sprayed with a clear protective sealant.

  • Waterfront Festival

January. This major summer festival right on Frankston's waterfront offers a weekend of fun. There will be live music, market stalls showcasing local wares, rides, amusements, food stalls and a beer and wine garden. Organised beach activities include soccer, hockey, paddle boarding, snorkelling, canoeing and a dive tank. It is a must visit event this summer.
