San Remo Channel Challenge
February. The event consists of a swim across the channel from San Remo to Newhaven, then a foot race across the bridge back to San Remo. On the day, San Remo comes alive with a number of activities for visitors and spectators including a market, food stalls, childrens rides, a fashion parade, a hole-in-one golf challenge and live music and entertainment.

Tidal Seafood Festival
September. A celebration of all things fishing held on the San Remo foreshore. Events include cooking and filleting demonstrations, live music, a gala dinner, childrens activities, market stalls, seafood sales and a traditional blessing of the fleet.
