Beechworth Heritage Festival
November. Celebrating the district's past, present and future, including First Nations, Chinese and Celtic forebears. There are concerts, performances, interactive exhibits, workshops and a street parade.

Golden Horseshoes Festival
March / April. The festival celebrates local member of parliament, Daniel Cameron, who led a parade through Beechworth on a horse with shoes of solid gold in 1855. The event is held on the Easter long weekend and includes a grand street parade, fun run, food stalls, night market, live music, entertainment, family bike ride and Easter egg hunt.
