Bayside Coastal Arts Trail
Bayside Coastal Arts Trail

This trail covers 17 kilometres along the coast from Brighton to Beaumaris. It features signboards celebrating the lives and artwork of notable Australian artists who painted scenes of the Bayside coast in years past. There are also several sculptures that capture the essence of the bay.

Brighton Bathing Boxes
Brighton Bathing Boxes

There are 82 brightly coloured bathing boxes nestled on the sand at Dendy Street Beach, overlooking the water. Dating back to the late 19th century, all of these iconic bathing boxes retain classic Victorian architectural design with timber framing and corrugated iron roofs.

Rippon Lea House & Gardens
Rippon Lea House & Gardens

Located near Brighton in neighbouring Elsternwick, Rippon Lea is set on 5 hectares of extensive gardens which include sweeping lawns, flower and rose gardens, a large lake, waterfall, lush fernery and orchard. The home itself was built in 1868 and the many rooms illustrate different periods of its ownership over the years. There is also a nostalgic pop-up tea room located in the stables.
