Australia Post is an Australian government-owned postal service company which handles the delivery of letters and parcels. It also provides billing service and business solutions.
Small letters (no larger than 130mm x 240mm, no thicker than 5mm, and no heavier than 250g) can be posted from within Australia to any other destination in the country for a fixed cost of 1 dollar. For faster delivery, a priority label can be affixed to the letter for an extra 50 cents.
To assist in mail delivery, all areas of Victoria are assigned a four digit postcode. All postcodes in Victoria begin with the number 3.
