Rail trails

In the past, Victoria had a much more extensive railway network than it has today. Many of the decommissioned railway corridors have since been turned into rail trails - tracks suitable for cycling, walking or horse riding.

There are many rail trails in Victoria, varying in length and covering a diverse range of landscapes.
