The art deco town hall was built in 1938 and originally used as a municipal complex. These days it is home to a performing arts theatre, exhibition hall, cafe and a regional art gallery with excellent collections of Australian art and photography.

The studio is located on a sheep farm that is 30 kilometres north of Dunkeld in the scenic Victoria Valley. The Silo Art Trail is an outdoor gallery that stretches for several hundred kilometres in north-western Victoria, linking small towns within the Yarriambiack, West Wimmera and Buloke Shires. Giant murals depicting life in the local community have been painted on grain silos by renowned artists.
